Moved to Slack
We are now using Slack for communication between Open Food Facts contributors. To join us, go to https://slack.openfoodfacts.org.
We will continue to use the wiki to document everything.
07/29/2014 - list of additives in cigarettes
Just found this list, it might be useful if/when we create Open Drugs Facts, a new can of worms: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_additives_in_cigarettes --Stephane (talk) 18:19, 29 July 2014 (CEST)
01/23/2014 - help to translate internationalization announcement
We need some help to translate a blog post in different languages: http://en.wiki.openfoodfacts.org/January_2014_-_Open_Food_Facts_is_getting_global
12/07/2013 - new extensions for the wiki
As suggested by Teolemon and others, this wiki now use the Echo notifications extension, the Thanks extension (look for edit in "View history" next to editors names), and the WikiEditor and CodeEditor extensions. --Stephane (talk) 15:52, 7 December 2013 (CET)
10/22/2013 - What's in my yogurt? project starting soon!
Let's launch the Project:What's in my yogurt? on November 1st! Please join a team (or more) and help to finalize the project. -- Stephane
10/16/2013 - Join us to hack on opening food
We need iOS, Android, MediaWiki devs, wizards on OCR and OpenCV, and any skill that would be relevant to the cause to help us scale OpenFoodFact, and create a smooth experience to foster and maximize contributions. We also need growth hackers to make OpenFoodFacts go viral in English speaking countries, and worldwide--Teolemon (talk) 01:34, 17 October 2013 (CEST)
